Murroe/Boher produced one of their best performances this year while overcoming Adare in the county Quarter final on the wet evening of Monday 25th August . M/B started this game confidently and by half time had opened up a 9pts to 1pt lead. The lead was built on very good work from M/B midfield, and half forward line who dominated play and M/B produced some well worked scores by holding onto possession and creating scoring chances resulting in 8 of the first half pts were kicked from play. The second half opened with an early opportunity for Adare to close gap with a penalty but Cian Duffy produced a very fine save to deny Adare. While Adare tried to get back into this match, dogged defending from 1 to 15 by M/B did not allow this to happen. M/B welcomed back Jake Shanahan following serious injury. Murroe-Boher have qualified to meet Kildimo-Pallaskenry in the semi-final. Date to be confirmed

The final score M/B 0-14  –Adare 0- 5.
