Murroe Boher ladies make successful start to Intermediate Football Championship.

Having been upgraded from the Junior ranks following our success in the Junior League Murroe Boher Ladies made their d├ębut in the Intermediate Championship last Wednesday evening away to last years Junior County Champions Old Mill. Following a fine display of open attacking football Murroe/Boher prevailed on a 2-16 to 0-06 scoreline. The girls put in a storming 1st half and led by 14 points to 2 at the interval with most of the scores coming from play as Murroe/Boher launched attack after attack. The defence never let Old Mill get a grip on the game and repelled most attacks effectively. With seven different scorers on the night the future looks bright for a good season in this our 1st year fielding an adult team. Catriona Laffan 1-01 Grainne Regan 0-04 Niamh Richardson 0-03 Michelle Norris 1-02 Claire Keating 0-02 Alannagh Russell 0-02 and Shauna Ryan 0-02 accounted for Murroe/Bohers tally on the night. Next up is Gerald Griffins.
