This match was barely on five minutes when Murroe Boher were down to fourteen men after Tom Lynch was sent to the line. However we battled away and took a lead of 1-01 to 0-01 with a well taken goal from Shane Meehan. Caherline with the numerical advantage finished the half well and should have had a huge lead only for the fact that our six backs were superb. H/T Caherline 0-08 Murroe Boher 1-02.

Points from Karl Cusack and Daithi Clohessy brought us close again until Caherline netted two quick goals to leave it 2-8 to 1-05 with 18 mins left. Murroe Boher could have faded at this stage but for fine saves from Conor Moore plus David Duggan and the forwards kept chipping away at the scoreboard. Murroe Boher were then down to 13 after Brian Mackay got his second yellow card. A goal and a point from Colin Brouder frees followed by a super point from Karl Cusack brought the sides level with minutes remaining. Caherline nudged ahead again but two late points from Daithi Clohessy and Karl Cusack insured a dramatic victory. The sending offs were out of character and had no reflection on a very sporting game. Final Score Murroe Boher 2-11 Caherline 2-10.
